0-6 months

Getting out during these early months is mostly about meeting people, sampling classes, and practicing being out with baby. Babies are limited in their ability to interact but this will soon change. Use this time to practice going to classes and getting first hand experience on how to support key aspects of baby's growth.

General tips for attending classes during this age band include: 1) take a break any time you need to change, feed, or soothe baby (no one cares), 2) bring a blanket to ensure a clean and designated area for baby, and 3) bring socks for yourself (many places ask for shoes off and socks on), 4) don't worry about being late but do aim to be early (it is nice to get settled in and ask questions or chat with other participants).
